Q: Nanjing woman lets her kids starve to death, is pregnant again. How should she be handled?
Some of you must have surely heard of the tragic incident in which two toddlers starved to death in their own home because their mother locked them in and didn't return home for weeks. The woman was caught but discovered to be 3 months pregnant. This woman is a monster who has lost the right to be a mother. In a normal situation, she would get the death sentence but since she's pregnant, authorities are saying that this is not a suitable option. The child inside her is innocent but this whole situation poses quite a moral dilemma in my opinion. How do you think it should be handled? Should she be allowed to give birth and then get the death penalty? Or should she just get locked up for life? Either way, the child needs to be put in proper care because this woman is the lowest form of life.
It sickens me whenever child murderers are given a chance to kill again. Child abuse is equally bad...
if 3 month pregnant, there I do not see any problem for abortion.

I do not like abortions either, but in some cases, it is more than politicaly correct and socialy accepted and even apreciated let some kind of people do not have babies anymore. I do not call 3 month old fetus a baby

Nessquick, the child inside her is innocent of her crime. Aborting the child because the mother is a criminal would be an abysmal slope to slide down...

I know, the baby is innocent, but thats why abortion is allowed till the 3rd month of pregnancy. because is still , ehm, small ...
1)The trial finished a quarter ago.She was sentenced to imprisonment for life.And the suitable solution seems to find a family who wants to adopt the poor baby after birth.
2)The father was in prison when the horrible thing happened.He is released now.And this woman had a drug problem in the past.
3)In my opinion,if this guy changes himself in the future and becomes a good man the best idea is to give the baby to him.But I doubt whether he is the father of this baby....
Is it the same man that has fathered the children ? If so he is just as bad, if not worse. Possibly the woman is so far of mentally that she is not aware of her wrongdoings. She definitely needs help, if that help is prison or whatever is less important than the fact that she is prevented in having more children.
I am kind of with Nessi on this. I agree the child deserves to live, but would this particular mother be able to treat herself properly during pregnancy? If she could be put under some kind of supervision, by all means she should have the child so it could be put up for adoption.
This woman is mentally unbalanced and needs help, not death. She should not be allowed to have children.

Exactly, as for the kid will be even worse if they allow to be born. What do they think ? kid will have a nice life ? does anyone seen , how the unwanted kids have ended up in china ? no father, no mother, close family don't like him/her ......
Have you heard of the British woman who let her 4 year old starve to death? They found the kid mummified in its cot wearing the clothes of a 1 year old. The kid had been malnourished since his birth and at age four was the size of a one year old. The woman was also a drug addict. This kinda sh*t is tragic but it happens all over the world. Let's hope there is a heaven for these innocent child souls.
