Q: Nanning dragon boat racing

I know the dragon boat racing is on in Nanning  at Nanhu park this coming weekend but does anyone know what times are best to see this. I have looked around but cannot really find any info.

I have not gone to Nanhu Lake to see the Dragon Boat races in years now, too crowded for my taste, a lot of police blocking places and access, and to far away to really see anything unless you have some good binoculars.  A few years ago they were held in the mid morning hours, I honestly have no idea when will they be held this year. 

But knowing Chinese displeasure of sun light, high noon will not be the time to be held.  Either mid morning or mid afternoon will be a better guess.

I will visit Gao Village and their Dragon Boat races on Yongjiang River this coming Saturday at 10 am.  Less persons and more enjoyable.
