the price in jinan is 700 rmb to 1800 rmb depending on whether you want nickel or platinum for the crown. in china many dentists at universities have night clinics to make extra money and do the work that should go to the dental hospital revenues, i went to a dental hospital and the doctor had her own clinic and did it for half the price of the hospital she works at during the day, good luck with your problem. cleaning run 55 to 150 rmb depending on what clinic you use in jinan. probably add 30 percent to these prices for shanghai.

I have dental insurance in Canada. But the insurance never quite covers the total price for the dental work. I found that the difference I paid in Canada is more than the cost for me to do the work in China (except for the 1st tier cities) 1800 Rmb (320 CAD) is the amount I would have to pay, over the insurance, in Canada for a gold crown. Considering the price is the same, I would do this one in Canada. Everything else is much cheaper in China.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
