For Pakistan it is here:

An S visa is simple enough to get if you are here on a work permit. Your company should be able to get it easy.
Good luck

Sorry. Forgot to say, your family would be better with a Q visa if you have a residence permit for China. There is not a massive difference between a Q and an S visa.

Thanks mate,It's really helpful :) I have work permit valid for 1 year , I talked to my company other day and they said that they never done this before so asked me to get information about documents and they will do it for me so I'm curious about one thing is that Do i need a simple invitation letter with my company stamp Or need to get an invitation letter from Chinese foreign affairs office ??? Your help would be very appreciated if you know about it
ScotsAlan:
The company invite should do the job. Government invite letters are normally for working visas.
