I hae a few made by there and they still are fantastic after 5+ years for one of them. The "fabric market" suits for 800rmb will give you just that. An 800rmb suit.

These guys make NY city quality suits that would cost $2500+ in the US for between 3000-5000rmb. Italian fabric, etc.

Try the market at the Science and Technology Museum. I had a suit made there recently and was stunned at the quality of the material available and the suit. Well made. I was impressed. ( My whole family are tailors, it takes alot to impress me when it comes to clothing) Pricing depends on your skills. I paid 400 rmb. Must have been a slow week. But all in all i am sure you could bargin at around 600 rmb and get away with a great suit. Payment is 50% upfront and 50% on pick up. Usually 7 day turn around.
