Q: Networking in Beijing

Hey everybody

I am new to Beijing, having just arrived from abroad and is going to work here the next couple of years. Even though i have a job for the time i am here, i believe it still is really important for my carreer development to have a good network. Therefore i would like to ask anyone who might be in the know, if they can recommend a place for doing networking?

Thanks alot!

FC Club arrange regular networking events. I also recommend attending some of the regular events here like Green Drinks, Bookworm talks etc.

You can also go to two free English clubs at Renmin University. One is outside every Friday Night near the east gate and the other is every Tuesday night at the west gate in the Paradise Coffee Ship (Mingde Bldg.) Both are free and both start at 7:00pm.
