At those days, do not try to traveling so much, it's a best choice. You may end up in traffic jam, overcrowded "famous places" and lining up long hours for every single overpriced ticket.

Come to visit me (us), i open some whiskey, put chicken in the oven and we may have a nice days with my family. You bring some sweets for my son is ok . Do you have yours family here ? We may go at some Shanghai side old town. Just avoid traveling outside.
