It's great for me because I'm stuck here with nothing to do for 2 weeks.  First 2 week vacation I think I have ever had, albiet a boring one.
It sucks for my company because our production was supposed to start before the new year and now its pushed back 4 weeks.
I find myself forgeting what work is (not a bad thing).
I wish I could go to a Chinese family home and experience the real deal with all the food....maybe next year.
I also have great hope for the new year.  Out with the old (gf) and in with a new one!

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
