There are going to be lots of parties.  If you want a expat type bar try (damn, forgot the name), it is down the street from the Mango near the Garden hotel.  Or if you are in Zhejiang, try McCouleys.  Or if you are in Panyu, try the Tavern or Strange Brew.  Lots going on in GZ this time of year.
