Q: Notime2lose blocked too?!? Have you all no shame?? Don't you know what they'll do to him?

The price for failure of a Thought Management professional in the CFTU is castration. The Leader is literally going to have him neutered all because you cretins just couldn't play along with Anti-US propaganda and a little harmless bigotry as well.

How would you feel if you were in his position? How about next time you all get with the program and embrace our new Thought Manager when he arrives?

Those posters can keep coming, it's ok.
1) Post batshit crazy stories/theories stuffs, with a smell of conspiracy, great evils and US being one of the evils, China eventually painted as a victim
2) The poster use one or two sock puppets, ie. multiple accounts, and make his little sock puppet show
3) People here see through the conspiracy shit and little by little, solid counter-argument build-up
4) The poster is on the defensive, gets aggressive and starts to make grandiloquent claims about his past occupations and achievements. The sock puppet show goes wild. The argumentation is on the level of a teenage mythomaniac
5) *bam* banned

The tone, the writing style, and the topics are very very similar to the Grumpy/EMZ4blabla/CFTU.admin episode. I vote for the conspiracy nut who happen to teach work in China, with a vocation for scam.

expatlife26:

it's obviously just written so inorganically...you know?

No ones train of thought runs like that unless they are pushing some kind of agenda; either seeking validation/attention for their point of view or something more sinister.

No real effort to participate in the discussion...just accusations flung at critics. (though not at me of course because i'm the CFTU's top celebrity member and that would be asking for trouble) Typical inflammatory rhetoric couched as a leading question. "Are expats just here to take advantage?" "Can we really trust the US media any more than other countries?"

Balanced of course with the coward's "Hey i'm just asking a question...don't censor me!"

So, it's ok to ban someone merely because :"The tone, the writing style, and the topics are very very similar to the Grumpy/EMZ4blabla/CFTU.admin episode"?

Personally, I didn't bother with this new person, there wasn't anything particularly interesting or exciting for me... but to ban someone because they're similar seems ridiculous!!!

@Shining_brown I did not banned anybody, and I didn't ask to ban anybody either ^^ And yes, that would a very poor reason to ban someone. If the admin banned him, there might be an other reason, but I've no idea why. Like, breaking the multiple account rule or something else. That would be good to know who is banned when and for what, that would make things transparent.

The type of posts and writing styles of these nutters seems very similar to one forum member we had here previously. I'll give you a hint... name starts with T, ends with raveler.

Why always the U.S. ?
Before the States rose to supremacy, the Dutch were pretty villainous too. OK, it was another country that pioneered the Atlantic slave triangle (and i'll deliberately neglect to name said country), but it was the Dutch who put it into practice and made their fortunes with it.
In Indonesia, a Dutch explorer practiced a unique form of genocide, by encouraging (threats or promising rewards; it doesn't matter in the end) one village to attack another village and slaughter the people. Then the band of merry musketeers would head to another village and tell the tale of the atrocities committed. If that wasn't enough to incite violence, they'd use a bit of 'encouragement' again. After a few months, a small company of musketmen had effectively depopulated a region, making it fit for settlement and colonization by the homeland. Clever, huh?
The dutch even liked to go to Japan and hire skilled Ronin to intimidate Indonesians. Anyone who dared stand up against the Dutch would be cleaved in half (head to toe) by a barbarically violent savage!

Come on, wumaos*! Stop idolizing your dream-nemesis USA. We European expats are feeling left out...

ps: is the plural of wumao with or without an S?

Could not past in the comments colum but this is a notice we all got from admin a while back                    Scams Scams Scams! Apr 10,2013 Feedback Hi folks, I'm going to lock all of the related threads in a second, as I'm really tired of this situation trumping the actual purpose of this board (you know, to ask and answer questions about China), but I'd like to clear a few things up first. Traveler is not and never has been a moderator on this forum. In fact, he had nothing to do with this affair until about a month or so back when an associate of the group in question apparently sent him a PM trying recruit him to scheme against me and this board. Traveler was nice enough to inform me of this situation, which is about the same time he went on the public offensive here. This situation actually goes back quite a long time. I first started noticing strange posting patterns for a couple of websites last September when I first started moderating the board. After a little digging, I discovered that the users who were supporting these websites on the forum and name-dropping them on old posts about "foreigners getting scammed" all in fact originated from the same group of IP addresses (and some were even linked to email addresses containing the website's name in it). As this is a shady way to promote a website (one that claims to help expose scams here no less), and we have a strict policy against advertising/spamming on the board, I promptly banned the dozen or so users that were part of it and deleted all of the advertising posts. Soon after, this person/people returned with new user accounts (and new websites), doing the same thing as before. I continued to ban them, even going so far as to update the community guidelines for the website, specifically to address this covert method of promoting their interests. (http://answers.echinacities.com/help/profanity#help2) Fast forward 8-9 months later and this person/people are still trying to tarnish my own credibility as a moderator and now apparently Traveler as well... all while continuing to subversively promote their own websites on the board. For the longest time, I thought the best course of action was to simply ban and delete, so you folks wouldn't have to get caught up in all of this nonsense, but their continued pestering has made it so this is no longer possible, and I decided to let some of the posts stay up (most noticeably, Traveler's and crimochina's recent few posts). This has had the unintended consequence that Traveler has become something of a martyr for the cause of exposing these groups, which a number of you now seem to hold against him. While I cannot personally attest to what Traveler has or has not done during his time in China, as I don't know him any better than you folks do, I must say that the fact that associates of these websites (who have been subversively trying to advertise here for the better part of a year) are the ones wielding these allegations is doing nothing to convince me of any wrong doing on Traveler's part. My time as a moderator on this board has been one long learning experience. Maybe I could have handled this situation better, making it public earlier perhaps. But I've tried my best to maintain the board as a tool for asking and answering questions about China, not for publicly exposing troublesome users with ulterior motives. -Admin

expatlife26:

Maybe I should drop my celebrity endorsement then.

I don't want to be martyred like Grumpy and I guess traveller as well.

I've questioned Admin's decisions in the past, and I'll still continue to do so! (especially in light of how the 'report abuse' button seems non-functioning... some people stay while directly and extremely offensively attacking others - and the posts remain... while those 'with an agenda' get banned and their posts/threads deleted.... no, not right at all!)

I'm not a fan of this current guy... but it's still not a reason to ban someone - unless they've broken the ToA... So, has this person broken those? Or, is there merely a suspicion of an agenda?

We often (constantly??) rail on the CCP and China with it's over-bearing (and, often, non-sensical) censorship. About how our governments 'hurt China feelings' and similar reactions. How is banning these people any different? Did NoTime2Lose hurt eChinacities/Admin's feelings???

Some on here rave about the freedoms we have in the west - particularly freedom of speech... and yet, here we are, advocating/defending a decision to ban someone because we don't like her/his posts... WTF???

Pot... kettle.

Swirl:

I agree and I think many users like Expat Life are simply shady agents who may have been exposed by the CFTU and now they seek some sort of revenge.  Here is what I found about the CFTU on line and there does not appear to be anything wrong with what they are doing IMO:

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
