Turkey will be a forgotten step child by Europe in less than a decade. The country had great promise as a moderate Muslim country that might actually work for all faiths and not have sexism, but alas, the dream is over.

The Counter-Coup Begins: Erdogan Purges 2,745 Judges, Prosecutors; Arrests Hundreds

Last night, a poorly organized, badly planned, quasi-coup took place in Turkey which led to Erdogan further retrenching his authoritarian position in the country. This morning, the president's own "counter-coup" began with the purging of 2,745 judges across the country, as well as the issuance of arrest warrants for 140 appeals court members. Erdogan's path to full, authoritarian power is now open.

Turkey Accuses US Of Being Behind Military Coup, Demands Extradition Of Cleric Gulen

Turkish President Erdogan has called on the United States to extradite Fethullah Gulen, a US-based Muslim cleric he accuses of being behind Turkey's failed coup attempt. Moments earlier Turkey's Minister of Labor went one step further, and accused America of being behind the coup on live Television, as it was harboring Gulen.

‘Turkey coup plotter’ Gulen: Failed uprising could have been ‘staged’ by Erdogan himself

The preacher who has been accused by the Turkish government of trying to seize power in a military coup has hit back, appearing to accuse President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of conducting a deadly false flag operation, and comparing him to Hitler.

TBH - When I saw the video of the Nice attack, something in my head said 'Turkey'... My thoughts were that Turkey(well, Erdogan and his family and cronies) has been helping ISIS (buying their oil, giving them free travel across borders, facilitating arms deals... shooting down Russian jets which were watching the convoys cross the border), and perhaps some in the military said 'enough is enough'...

Of course - this could all be wrong.. but the timing was right, if the reason wasn't.

Perhaps Erdo is thinking he can get away with shit like the Saudis do??

You can expect to see Turkey get kicked out of NATO soon...

There are articles about 'false-flag/stand-down' event as always. Who knows, what really happened. Reports about Bataclan and Nice attack are also very gruesome.
