Q: Is old tea poisonous?

All the Chinese teachers at my school say this and I got conflicting answers when I googled it. I have a thermos I keep at work. Sometimes there's 1 or 2 day old tea left and I just refill it with hot water and  new tea bag. Is that bad?

Old tea is the biggest killer in China.
The tea bud sport tropisms which are know to want to conquer the world.

If someone gives you old tea, you know they are trying to kill you.
You should report them to the local police IMMEDIATELY.

Ps. Didn't realise they had 't-bags' for green tea. Perhaps they put the poisonous stuff in those bags or it becomes poisonous after. Either way, they should carry a health warning "These bags are poison!" - Maybe something like that. To alert shoppers, you know.

Try and get some sleep now...

It's hard to confirm that it's poisonous or not. There are so many factors you need to take into consideration.concentration, mankind, ingredient of the old tea etc
