Q: Olympics ~ Chinese cheats??
For those of you that are following the Games, what do you think about Australian swimmer, Horton and the ongoing 'rift'
wth Sun Wang being a drug cheat? And, can someone pls explain, what does it mean that he(Sun) had a 'secret ban' imposed in 2014 ? What is that?
More importantly, what ever happened to Ye Shiwen ?? Remember, the young 16 yr old swimmer who blew them away at
London games, won 2 gold, even swam faster than some of the men in the relays! What an incredible athlete..
Pls correct me, but I'm sure she never swam after that. Why is that?
Where is she now? At 20 yrs old she would be reaching her peak...you would think???
Maybe the poor girl is suffering a case of elephant juicitis, & hasn't recovered yet?
Does anyone know? It does seem strange....
I think many athletes from all around the world are cheaters. The Chinese swimmer got caught cheating and got banned. The Australian swimmer stated you're a cheater and I don't like you.
There is nothing wrong with this exchange and Chinese people need to get out of their own assholes. He said something true and it's his choice to like people or not. The same swimmer who got caught cheating also gets in a lot of every day trouble. He is just a shit person.
Spiderboenz:
Also, the World Anti-Doping Agency advises a 2 year (minimum) ban from competition for first time offenders... Somehow, he only got a 6 month ban. This happened in 2014, so he really SHOULDN'T be eligible to compete.
Why you say bad things about glorious Chinese sporting heros.
Only use TCM not western drugs.
Green tea is very good
Chinese body not like your body
Stop saying bad things or we will beat all Kangaroo with Koalas .

Quick fact check - Ye Shiwen only got 2 medals for the 200&400m medley. This time around, she missed out on a medal for the 400, but the final for the 200 is on in a couple of days. She's currently 4th fastest as of the semi-final.
Also - Sun Yang - not Wang, (Given Chinese names, rather significant to get the spelling right).
From: http://www.shanghaidaily.com/world/China-Australia-locked-in-drug-cheat-...
"The Chinese team briefly banned Sun, 24, from competing following a raft of disciplinary issues, including crashing a friend’s Porsche SUV into a bus in 2013 while driving without a license, landing him in jail.
Sun has previously said he did not know the medication trimetazidine, which he took for chronic heart palpitations, had been placed on the banned list when he tested positive."
Olympic athletes who don't bother to check their medication?? WTF??? But given the lack of personal responsibility (and the first paragraph) - perhaps this is actually true. Stupid, but true. (although I think it more likely they found a performance enhancing chemical, and then tracked down a medicine that it's in, and did the "we can fool stupid drug testers!"!)
I just hope for their sake they can defend the South China Sea better than they defended the paint against the USA in basketball.
Oxymoron
robaird:
What is there to proof? OP title posited that Chinese cheat, rhetorically. Hence, oxymoronic.
LastTargarean:
So Chinese never cheat? An oxymoron is a combination of two things which are diametrically opposed, like dry rain, or civilized nong.
Shining_brow:
That's not pedantic.... that's actual sense!
Right now, you'd be much better off apologising for your mistake and rebuttal, and bow out.

playing the victim card, where have i heard that before?
Sun Yang didn't even qualify for the event he holds the world record in. I guess he isn't such a star without drugs.
I watched the race in question in Australia last weekend and took notice of the post race interview, which went like this..... "Wow, you won" "Yes, I did" "And how about this argy bargy you've got going on with Sun Yang?" "My sentiments are not directed to him specifically, I just have a set against all drug cheats".
And the Chinese response is all wah wah wah..... Even ten minutes ago I got a call from a Chinese mate who wants to meet me this afternoon to discuss the matter. I told him no because I'm a fat lazy bastard but how about brunch tomorrow is ok. Chinglish just then. Haahhahaaa I've effn lost it.
In the great words of MMA fighter Nick Diaz: "Everyone's on steroids, all y'all mo'fuckers is on steroids." They're all cheats, not only the Chinese.
Americans threw a stick during the relay race, failed at it and instead of getting DSQ, had a rerun.
Why do people still bother about the Olympics? Let's just give all the gold to Team USA and go watch some relevant sport.
