Q: Other than native speakers (Asians) can get English teaching Jobs in China? If so any source?

Are you asking whether or not Chinese can get English teaching jobs?
Yea, but with greater difficulty and half the pay...
Is any Asian country English speaking? I mean native. How come I don't know! Really bad at this stuff!
@wenna7.........There are many asian countries speak English. Like my country India, each and everyone speak english and moreover many people have their education in english for theacir whole career.
There is a difference that in China, all of them have their education in Chinese and have english as their one of the subjects to learn. But it is not the same case in India as 70% have their education fully in English.
But this fact is not taken in China and when we apply for any English teacher job, simply get rejected. I am dejected now and do not know how to convince ....???
nithskarthik, the further you go from the East Coast the easier it will be. If you want to work in a big city like Beijing or Shanghai, the answer is simply no, unless you can provide your own visa. If you can provide your own visa then it will never be a problem with getting an English Teaching job.
Chinese law states as of 2010 Dec. ESL jobs must be taken by a Citizen from these countries, The US, The UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and South Africa. Foreign Expert Certificates for teaching English as a Second Language, or teaching Subjects in English will not be given to non Native English Speakers.
If the Non Native was employeed by a school before this date then the employer can extend the working visa, if it has to be renewed it will be denied.
If you go to Inner Mongolia, Shannxi, xi an, Harbin you'll have a pretty good chance of getting a contract and a visa with native English pay.
EF Shanghai regularly hires L2 English speakers from Singapore, Malaysia, and other Asian countries.
Delter Shanghai regularly hires L2 English speakers from the Philippines, Russia, and other countries.
Many public universities hire L2 English speakers.
If you are from India, Dalian is your best bet. There are also call centers there that regularly hire L2 English speakers from India.

Stay far far far away from English First. This is a really bad school for foreign teachers. I have seen more foreigners in trouble with legal issues stemming from this school than any other legal issue in China. Stay away people, stay far far far away.

there is no such law that prevents to issue (Z-VISA) & (Foreign Expert Certificates ) to non native english teachers.
I AM FROM PAKISTAN and teaching in Beijing sice 2 years and i found my job on the same website, thanks to www.e-chinacities.

You are partially correct. That and Training Schools with good contacts which will help. But the law has changed my friend. Dec. 2010, 20 days before 2011, it changed, not that it's a good thing. If you are already on a working visa, that will make it easier. Change schools and you will find a problem. Nothing a little red envelope wouldn't fix. Beijing is one of the cities, you might want to check your facts before bringing in newbies from non native speaking countries to come and work in the English field. I have met some admirable fellows from Pakistan, but I am a legal advisor, have been for some time in Beijing and Tianjin. We have a license in every major city in China. I do know the law my friend. But in China, laws a literally made to be broken, so that being said. If there is any problem please drop me a line.
i have met both Italian and Pakistani english teachers, and they both had jobs... ofcourse, more difficult in the big cities. Too much offer.

just be qualified and you will get hired anywhere.........a native qualified teacher counts more than just a race
