You need to have a stamp of your latest entry into China. Found this out when I applied recently and my latest entry stamp in China was before the entry stamps in other countries. Had to go to the border checkpoint office to print out the latest entry in my e-channel record. Granted this was not a problem when I renewed my residence permit last year but with the new visa system it has become a problem. Also goes to show that there is no communication between government offices.

What the fuck has happened to this site.
Is it just left or right wing point scoring, or do we still look out for eatch other.

This is a good question. I was also thinking of the same thing about gettng the entry stamps on my passport. I have used the e-channel before and there is no trace of entry stamps, but just scan the passport and a face scan that is all. Is it possible to get an electronic entry stamps on receipt from the e-channel office in Lok Ma Chau?
hi2u:
I don't think you get it at Lok Ma Chau. I think I got mine at the police bureau near Grand Theater, but your company would have to check where exactly.
I just renewed my e~channel feature after I got my Visa in July, didn't really come across this issue. Every time I get a new Visa I need to renew the e~channel feature
hi2u:
I guess this problem applies to the people who apply for the new work visa for the first time.
