Q: Personal picture used against permission - can you sue in China?
if you saw your picture on the magazine without knowing you, will you ask for indemnity?
a friend saw his picture on a magazine, and also on the website , he wants to Sue the company, which posted his picture, thanks for sharing guys
I would also try to sue the company, but with the Chinese "legal system" being what it is I would not be optimistic about my chances for success.
I'd want them to use my pic more, easiest way to be famous in China ! Think of the women !
man free promotion is never that bad...............women wise.....just show the magazine and the website to every girl you want to sleep with....haha...

btw. how that picture was "published" first (by Your friend)? on some portal in the internet?
are Your friend absolutely sure, that statements that was claimed as accepted by him by entering this site does not allows them to do with that pictures whatever They want? (as is on the Facebook for example)?
