Basically are strong, sexy men doing physical labor iconic images of desirable masculinity here?
Are there calendars out there with pictures of hot, sweaty, sooted Chinese firemen?
In reality they are over weight guys that have their pants falling down so you get to see the crack in their behind.
Calendars of hot sexy guys are more aimed at the other type of men and not women.
I would think they would like middle aged English teachers from foreign lands?
i think ady maybe watched too much american tv series it is joke. haha
most of these man in tv series are stronger, handsome and sexy. i remember one episode of modern family, the host get hurt by accident in home, the hostess call fireman to help. and she makeup for handsome fireman coming. very funny.
but in china, i am afraid you will disappoint, chinese aren't accustome to connect these man with sexy. only thought they are physcial labor.
nevermind:
"Kids, please be nice to your new fireman dad." That was a great episode.
No. I think the icon of masulinity here is the guy in a nice suit, and a lot of spare cash to throw at the girl. Manual labour jobs don't have much prestige, and women here don't have the same ideas on how to be rescued or protected.
Too funny, I'm not sure but if there is someone post an image so when all have a good laugh. I do believe most younger Chinese guys look more feminine than their counterparts, so maybe their dressed up in a bikini
