I'll go first...

1. Children of Men (I like dystopia, and generally like dark or uncertain endings); Game of Thrones (typically I am heterosexual, but my alignment wavers somewhat when Khal Drogo is on screen); Pride and Prejudice BBC mini-series 1995 (typically I am heterosexual, but my alignment also wavers somewhat when Mr Darcy is on screen)

2. The Lady of Shalott by Loreena McKennitt (possibly the most tasteful thing ever); Aphelion by Tristania; 3rd movement (not the famous one) of Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven

3. Robin Hobb (in particular Royal Assassin); Christopher Hitchens (in particular everything he ever wrote); Camille Paglia (very intelligent discussion about ancient biological forces vs modern perceptions about sex)

4. Lazy, disorganised, argumentative

5. I consider myself to be the world's foremost authority on creme caramels.

6. There is no poster above me, but I can with complete honesty say this about the next poster: He/she has the body of Achilles/Aphrodite, the intellect of Socrates, and is said to have invented love.

Sorry but 'Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdrome'? I think the question was, which movies do you love? Not, which movies suck elephant ass? You've made up for it with your taste in writers though.

Blues Brothers, Do the Right Thing, On the Waterfront, Taxi Driver (pretty much anything by Scorsese), Clockwork Orange (pretty much anything by Kubrick), The Pawnbroker (big fan of Sidney Lumet too), Pulp Fiction (again). No stopping me at 3. TV just doesn't compare.

All 1960s-1970s tunes here; Heroin - Velvet Revolver (its not even about the subject matter. Its that passion with which he sings about it), Message of Love - Band of Gypsies (The best track on Hendrix's last album), Time - Chamber Brothers (The ultimate one-hit wonder)

Not a big reader but Jack Kerouac's Road books became Easy Rider, Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness became Apocalypse Now & a ton of Hemingway's stuff went to the big screen. (see what I did there)

up side down

I do art; painting, drawing, sculpture, etc

I've never noticed Nicholas Ba before but I'm sure he's a great guy. I'd click on his post history to find out something else to say but I'm not sure if that would make me have to type all of this over.
