Children of Men (I like dystopia, and generally like dark or uncertain endings); Game of Thrones (typically I am heterosexual, but my alignment wavers somewhat when Khal Drogo is on screen); Pride and Prejudice BBC mini-series 1995 (typically I am heterosexual, but my alignment also wavers somewhat when Mr Darcy is on screen)
2. The Lady of Shalott by Loreena McKennitt (possibly the most tasteful thing ever); Aphelion by Tristania; 3rd movement (not the famous one) of Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven
3. Robin Hobb (in particular Royal Assassin); Christopher Hitchens (in particular everything he ever wrote); Camille Paglia (very intelligent discussion about ancient biological forces vs modern perceptions about sex)

Sorry but 'Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdrome'? I think the question was, which movies do you love? Not, which movies suck elephant ass? You've made up for it with your taste in writers though.

Not a big reader but Jack Kerouac's Road books became Easy Rider, Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness became Apocalypse Now & a ton of Hemingway's stuff went to the big screen. (see what I did there)
