most places dont have the high octane and you probably get the lower and think you got 93 octane, so you basically get 89 or 91 octane for a price between 6.1 to 11.1 per liter depending on the price of oil at the time of purchase, china subsidizes (owns a piece of all the oil companies) so tax is not as bad as some countries, but natural gas is promoted heavy for taxis and the tractor trailers (truck drivers drive cabovers with 2 huge propane tanks only 15 centimeters from the cab, driving with a bomb) to keep down pollution, so if natural gas gets too high, they raise the fossil fuel prices so lng liquid natural gas is competitive, actually the price here is higher than america in most cases, but the real cost of driving here is the expressways are almost exclusively toll roads, in most cases higher than the fuel price to drive down the freeway, the freeways had to be built after the population centers were already in place and this caused elevated roads and very high prices for construction or it's just a scam to keep people from moving about and controlling them with high costs. pick your favorite conspiracy you like, also dont forget auto insurance here is priced at about 10 percent of the value of the car on an annual basis, your driving record, age, sex has nothing to do with the price, although i think the idiots are starting to change their mind about this crazy price formula.

Lift your game mate. But in answer to your question, the price of fuel is just over a US dollar per litre depending upon the day, provence, city, company. Get someone to do the mathamication for you.

a litre = ??? of a normal gallon
a litre is a pretty set commodity
a ton on the other hand is variable.... a ton as opposed to a tonne.

how many kilometres per litre?
mine does 6 litres per 100 kilometres
truth is, I had a Toyota in 1976 that got as good a fuel mileage as the cars today.
fuel is quite cheap here in China... but, but , but.. not clean and never believe what you see on the sign.
