Q: Private Aviation in China?

I am working in the middle of Zhejiang Province in a place called Hengdian. It is a small community which is basically a suburb of another city called Dongyang. I have noticed and heard the last couple of days a small plane flying overhead. Don’t really know what kind of plane but it is a small aircraft, maybe a Cessna 172, a plane that would hold two people or maybe four.

My father is a retired airline pilot who owns several aircraft and before he got too old enjoyed flying them, he even knows how to build aircraft and engines. His pilot job paid him handsomely so he can easily afford his hobby. In America there are small airports in almost every small town, usually a concrete or asphalt landing strip. In this area, the only airport I know about is in Yiwu which has some commercial flights, but most people fly out of Hangzhou or Shanghai. When my parents came to China my father remarked that there were no planes (small planes) ever in the sky and really you see no planes in the sky in China except at the airport or maybe a tiny speck of a plane 30,000 feet in the sky.

If my father were Chinese, and had the same profession and had money, could he have his own airplane and be able to fly the aircraft for fun? I would think maybe some people in China out of a billion has the interest and the money but don’t know if it would be possible.

Anyone ever see small aircraft in the sky in China? This one flying around today is about the first small plane I have ever seen. I thought at first it was a lawnmower or something else. Not a plane. Just a rarity here. I am from Memphis Tennessee and there are several small airports for private aviation. Don’t know or think this would be possible here.

It's probably illegal, and for good reason.

Look at the roads, the way people drive and the way cars are maintained. Or not maintained.

If people were able to buy planes and fly them around it would be chaos, they'd be dropping like flies.

They have schools for private aviation and lots of airports with private sections and places to keep your aircraft or you can rent one and fly with an instructor. I have a local government official buddy who has his license and is always going out flying in his spare time. He showed me his license once it was on his phone, sort of like an app that had all of his info like a digital license.

problem with him is that he cant get a passport. Being a government official he cant get a passport to travel. I actually never knew they could not leave the country if you a local official, I'm not sure if this is all gov officials, but he's not allowed to. So he stuck flying in Chinese airspace.

Stiggs:

Thinking back I can't remember seeing anything other than commercial passenger planes and military planes.

Maybe they have designated areas for the private planes, or exclusion zones where they can't fly. Over cities would make sense.

Navy Pilots Describe Stunning UFO Sightings; Hypersonic Speeds, No Exhaust Plume

After upgrading the radar systems on F/A-18 fighter jets, several Navy pilots operating from the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt began to see unidentified flying objects that appeared to defy the laws of physics.

Between 2014 and 2015, the strange objects - one of them spinning like a top as it traveled against the wind, appeared almost daily in the skies above the East Coast. The crafts had "no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes," and "could reach 30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds" according to the New York Times

To be clear, these craft were reported in March of 2018 so this is not a new report, however the accounts of five pilots who witnessed them have never been published until now.

"These things would be out there all day" said Lt. Ryan Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who has been in the Navy for a decade. Graves reported his sightings to the Pentagon and Congress.

"Keeping an aircraft in the air requires a significant amount of energy. With the speeds we observed, 12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect."

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot had a near collision with one of the objects, and an official mishap report was filed. Some of the incidents were videotaped, including one taken by a plane’s camera in early 2015 that shows an object zooming over the ocean waves as pilots question what they are watching.

Wow, what is that, man?” one exclaims. “Look at it fly!” -New York Slimes

Some facts now:

'All prehistoric sites (Giza, Maya, Stonehenge, Gobekli Tepe, Balbek ...) are built in geometrical alignment, North-South and are all aligned with Sigma constellation (1500 light years away from Earth), where Tabby-star is located.

Tabby star emits bursts (dips) of light and it is most likely huge structure in front of the star/planet built by an advanced civilization. Bursts of light match Pascal's ...

I am planning trip to Gaziantep, but in my Turkey-stan, we are entering 10-days national holidays next week, buTT ... 'Don't travel during national holidays' applies in Turkeystan the same as it applies in China.

I'll report, if I'll meet somebody from my other planet there, he he.

I don't know much, but I do know that Something is going on.  Like u said,,,,   the place is vast,,,,soooooo,,, advisable Not to start thinking about how vast?  let me do it for u,,,  ok,,, so,, solar sysytem is big by human measuremenet,,,  we reach edge of SS, and see that it's a drop in the bucket compared to what else we can see,,,  then Scientists say what we can see is a drop in the bucket compared to what we can detect, then they say the same thing over and over,,,,   ok,,, Finally we get to the End,,,  this is the Universe.  Ok, it's measurable , and large.  Fine.  Finite.   ooooops,,, if it's Finite,, then what is it contained in?   ok,, so That is Finite.  or is it?  what is 'it' contained in?  Repeat that thought process about a 100 times.  Ok, so we are at the end of the Universe,, right?  ok, good?  but what is it contained in?   In other words,,,  human mentality doesn't seem to be able to cope with the concept of 'Infinite'.  I think if we can't figure infinite,,, we don't really know Sh*t from Shinola at the end of the day....  In other words Anything could be,,, and probably is.

People have been seeing and reporting weird flying things and little alien dudes for hundreds of years. Things have been seen and filmed over cities by hundreds, if not thousands of people at the same time. They can't all be bullshit artists or the town drunk.

@ Divedude yeah man I hear that. I'll sometimes put 'how big is the universe' or similar into youtube and watch the vids about just how enormous the universe is.It  blows me away. It's stuff our minds just can't process, let alone the idea of infinity.

most pilots here other than chinese air force have to get training somewhere else, 85 percent of air space is restricted in China, also notice most international flights take off at night and domestic during the day. lots of restrictions, I have never understood restricting so much air space when military pilots get less than 10 hours of flying time every month.

TIC, this is china.
