Q: PSN or Xbox Live in the mainland?

Does anyone here use PSN or Xbox Live in the mainland?

With winter upon us and spending more time indoors, thinking of picking up a 360 or PS3 next time in HK but not really interested if it cannot play online (due to them possibly being blocked???).

XBox Live is not suported in China. Not sure if it is actually blocked as such.

Step one in winter entertainment. Get a VPN connection, this would solve any gaming console woes.

Yeah I've read about Xbox Live not being supported in the mainland, was hoping someone here has had experience with PSN.

According to my IP and location trackers, I'm in Hong Kong (wink wink nudge nudge) so I think I'm ok internet connection wise.

If PSN was supported (ie. not blocked) on a standard internet connection I'd go that route.
