Q: Random food served in restaurants?
I'm pretty tired of Chinese restaurants. Apart from being extemely special when it comes to eating (especially in China) I find that when I actually find something 'edible', I will return to that same place and order the same food but, unfortunately for me, the food is random and I often recieve something as totally different in taste as presentation. Why?
remember where you are! quality is not translatable, it is a foreign concept here. i have had the same experience sweet and sour pork, they hit me something not cooked right or prepared right, i stopped going there. tough to do you end up forgetting which restaurants you stopped going to 
I guess you better work harder on your Chinese so you can get exactly what you want 
This likely explains why many of us who haven't fine to McDonald's for years in our homelands started going there again after moving here...
