Q: Really have Chinese blacklist ?

I hope anyone already in my situation right now can help me to answer my question.

I had studied and stayed in Beijing for 6 years. Now I'm in Viet Nam , work for my aunty family and they have some business deal with Chinese company . I apply for F visa with invitation letter from the Chinese company , my new passport ( my old one is lost in Viet Nam and I already report also have new one cause my father is police officer so it not problem for me to renew my passport in short time ) to Chinese Consult in my city . After 4 days they give back my passport and say that my name in blacklist , my name and birthday same with someone. i was shocked and I ask them the reason , they just say that know by myself.

I don't understand this problem , even if I renew my passport but for the record I never had criminal record or did bad thing while 6 years I been in Beijing . And IF even I have then they should kick me out of the country and put me in blacklist for long time ago not now.. I had extent my visa a lot of in Beijing , even one time I forgot to extent my visa and I make a tourist visa in my city without any problem.

now my agent told me that I need to write down the letter to say that I'm not the person the officer say or prove it to them I didn't have any criminal record , my aunty company document with the stamp and the letter from the company send me to Beijing for business discussion. And she said if can't they I never can go back to China anymore .

Such a good thing after I heard it , never in my life I stay in this situation. Now I ready for the document and the agent will go with me to apply the visa again.

I don't understand their rule even I have been there for long time. If like that then how can all the small company like us can do business with China ? And blacklist...if really in blacklist then they should check criminal record with Interpol or at least with our police.

I have too much business deal need to make in China , if only for this I can't go and what should I do ?

Either you're lying or telling the truth, I'm afraid you'll need a Chinese lawyer to help you fight in a case like this and the only place you can do this is in Hong Kong.. Yes it'll probably be too expensive for you and China probably doesn't care if your case gets fixed or not. So I'm dead honest when I say there's nothing you can do to fix your problem. The only thing that can fix it is a lot of freakin money and I think 20,000 to 30,000 RMB and 4 to 5 monthes to settle the case.

@ ironman : really...but I'm in Viet Nam right now , and I already read the other peoples ad about their name in blacklisted , some of them say that even their name not in blacklist but if the officer in Chinese embassy or Consult don't like you then they won't give you any right reason. Some of them say can go ask them really the reason , and prove it to them that you are not harm or danger to their country. Some of them are really in Chinese blacklisted with serious crime as drug dealer , overstayed a lot of time , fight...so they are need to be worry.

But for me , stayed in bj for 6 years , go and back vn one year 2 times in vacation , extent my visa with the school help...I didn't see any bad thing to put my name in blacklist , and as I say before , if I have they should kick me out really long time ago and maybe on the time I extent my visa in Beijing .

So if I can't apply my document in the consult to mainland then how can I apply it to go Hk and then apply for the visa to bj.

And if later if I work at Immigration department in my city , should I need to do the same thing with their peoples application when they want to travel , stay or work in my country ?
Oh and some peoples say that because my country and China have problem with the island we are talking about so they make some difficult for our peoples want go to China.

Again only a lawyer can solve this problem for you and the only Chinese lawyers you can find will be in Hong Kong. There's nothing you can do but wait for your name to be removed.

@Englteachted : yes I'm from Viet Nam. I also heard some news that "if from Vn , girl and still single so they won't give you visa" cause so much vnese girl go to china and married to Chinese guy. Feel so bad when heard it....and I think the blacklist they make should have some really seriously reason with a criminal record and confirm by the police , so they can control more forgeinger. I know that have some forgeinger really made some crimes in China as rape , overstayed for 1-2 years...and they just change new passport with little change in name then they again can get inside china without any problem.

I think this another reason people should never give copies of their passports to others.  It is not difficult for people to assume your identity if they have the right information.

TrangNguyen:

I know...I only give my passport photo to my school or PSB in bj or the local police when I move or make a new permit resident. I had a friend overstayed in bj for 1 year , just pay fine , change the passport and then can go back again without any problem. This is the weird thing I talk about...now my agent just say get all documents that the consulter need and let see what will happen.

There are many blacklsists out there in China and the ESL teachers list is the one list you don't want to get on because you cannot get off it!  Just google "China school and agent blacklist" for details.

Good, a legit anon poster. Can you get an explanation ? A lawyer would be your best option, but try to avoid hiring one in China, they will rip you off. Also consult with a visa agent.

BUt to be honest your chances are very slim.

Yeah I also really tired with these stuff....I mean first I'm excited and then shocked and now is tired...my agent company also from government and she just say let give all the document they require and let see...actually if it's really necessary to go China again...if they stop us then let it go , I just dissapoinment about the reason that they give me , while some Chinese peoples came to my country , kidnapping kid and kill them..so with that kind of crime do we need to stop all the Chinese peoples want come to vn ?

international travel is going to get more difficult and more difficult and more ........  criminals are everywhere and have no scruples.....  instead of a peaceful global community, many, many nations are going to strict nationalism.........  it is sad.

TrangNguyen:

You said right...but need to give a limit to decide right and wrong , special with the peoples who have all right documents. Today my aunty company gave me all the document indeed with the company stamp and signature as the officer require . Now just wait and see but as you guys say I also feel hopeless. Really suck !

I agree with Ironman. You really need to get a lawyer involved or if you don't have the money, use a variation of your legal name to apply for a visa at a different consulate. For example if your name on your passport is Robert P.Singer and that is the name you worked under in China. Try applying for a visa under the name of R. Paul Singer and you might slip through undetected. This is what others recommend at another forum. Good luck.
