Q: Is really healthy to eat meat which is not completely cooked?

Like Sashimi,  steak, maybe there are still parasites in it.

Chinese bodies are different - you may be used to all the antibiotics and other unicorn dung used in meat production in China having lived there all your life, and the toxic soil that makes up a large percentage of 'farm' land in China.

i avoid all undercooked/uncooked meat, and avoid eating any fish in china.

This is basic common sense as there are times when eating food is akin to Russian Roulette (expired repackaged meat anyone?)

At home all meat is traceable, so you can practically know the field the animal lived on - it is called 'from field to fork'

Do you know the origin of the meat you eat in China and the conditions in which is was reared?

on this sort of question, common sense is on automatic

Some meats are better than others.

As an Australian, I like steak done 'rare', however not knowing the origin of steak in China I cook it properly and check very carefully if I am out at a restaurant.

Pork must be done properly as yes, there maybe some nasty parasites!

Not sure about the fish, again here I would urge caution and better to know where the food is from!

I have found that one can buy frozen beef at some of the common supermarkets in 10 kg lots. It is from Australia and not too expensive.

Tyson brand I think it is.

Need to ask the meat department for a 'whole pack' and check it carefully.

There is also Qindao beef and one would think that could be trusted, but who knows!

Chicken is the one you really want to watch.
If under or over cooked there is a high likely hood you are going to be sick. The effects may take a couple of days to start after you ate it.
Even a seasoned iron Chinese stomach is no match for things i can't spell... (bochalisem and saminella)

overcooked? one would think that would nuke all bugs harder!

Most meat is dangerous if overcooked apparently. Something to do with toxins being released.

I like all my food cooked, well, meats anyway.  I never did get that sushi thing.

even though when I was young n dumb, or at least dumber,,, I ate (drank) some fresh cobra blood.  How do I know it was fresh u ask?  I watched the poor critter get slaughtered in front of me.  We drank its blood and bile cuz it makes a man's junk get down with the funk.  Or so the Shaman said anyway....

I certainly would not even look at it. Your assumption is correct. Besides the blood is the medium of other health issues so you better not eat it unless well cooked. This is what I do anyway and make it sure it is really cooked. It will not taste the same, but your health is rather protected from any dangers. Besides you don't know the conditions in which is stored up and those of cooking it itself. So, measures ar never enough but one thing you can be sure of it, is that you make no mistake if you don't eat it unless it's well cooked, no traces of blood at all.

It's more healthy-er  if you kind of slurp it .... You should never, ever chew the 'meat', one (female) cook-er showed me.

drink more hot water when eating uncooked meat as the hot water will cook the meat you have just eaten.

That makes as much sense as anything else I've heard in China
