Q: Red or green channel at the custom?

When you enter China, and you bring coffee and stuff with you, do you go through the red channel or the green channel for customs?

Green.... actually there's been many times that there's not even a person sitting at the customs area to even pretend to look work. Unless it's anything beyond what would look like it is more than just personal use, the Chinese really don't care.

I've never been stopped in customs. Thinking back, I could have smuggled in so much cocaine...

i used the green , crap they want you to declare everything. no one looked at me. BTW coffee is used to confuse the drug sniffing dogs, which i never saw either.
OFF TOPIC,, you know how some customs or immigration officers can be such pricks. When I was leaving I told the female img. officer that I didn't want to leave and since no one welcomed me to China, she should plead wih me to stay,,( in a fun way), she just laughed and said 'Ted don't leave China", so I'm going through security and I have lile 50 guards going over me, up and down off the little stand. I think they just wanted to see my ass.. so I tell them the same story and the entire security crew lines up in front of me and said "Ted don't eave China",, phuck I wish I had filmed it.

I always go green and have never had anything checked. I must bring in commercial quantities of cheese and coffee every time.

A:I ain't sure if this will help, but I used to say ...:"Never stop sending your CVs, not even if you already have an interview invitation!" MS degree is completed online ... That might be the reason 'cause I don't think employer in China can secure legal Working permit by presenting degree completed online. TEFL Course completed online was/is acceptable, but I'm not sure about your MS ... Have a look at the requirements for Z visa in China ...  Good luck! -- icnif77
