Q: Revised question for Motorbike license.

Guys, i hope all of you are doing great and enjoying the summer. I'm revising my question. Sorry for this, but i really need some information.

I got my C1 (converted from my UK driving license) in march this year. which is only permitted to drive car not for bike. The traffic police station here is telling me to wait for a year to get the bike license (as they are telling me that your C1 is new, but probation time isn't mentioned there like normal Chinese driving licenses). I've already bought the Bike don't know what to do.

Another, Driving illegally isn't a problem but i don't wanna do it. I'm not going to despoil foreigners image in china.

looking forward for quick quick replies.

Just drive, if your in a place where bikes are still allowed then that is what is called the boonies or the sticks and nobody gives a flyin monkeys nut sack about laws. Remember, its only illegal if something bad happens.

probation period on a drivers license refers to driving and getting paid to do so, like a taxi.etc..  one year then you can steal legally by driving a taxi.

there is no waiting period between drivers lic..   i have both and did them seperately.

but if you dont have a moto lic on your foreign drivers lic. then you will need to go through the testing process.... some have gotten away with only doing the moto driving test at a test site on a moto and a health exam at hospital and the computer test.

others had to do the whole ball of wax, meaning paying a coach first then the tests...

coachs are expensive and do little but tell you what is on the 'practicum' test.

good luck, just keep bothering the traffic police or find another traffic police office until they allow you to take the test.

one other thing...............is the moto licensed ?  make sure you have the minimal insurance on it, only 150rmb a year or so.....

if not and you hit someone and the police are involved, you will be in a shit storm..

another good piece of info. is to carry money with you so if you do hit someone hand them some money and get the hell out of there asap!

a friend of mine on a ebike was struck by a lady who was carrying too much stuff on her ebike.. so he stopped to help her pick up her shit and it turned out he had to pay her 1000 rmb
