Q: Is riding e-bike and e-motorcycle legal in Beijing?
In some Chinese cities and in many western countries, there are regulations concerning riding bike or motorcycle driving by electric power and riding e-bike or e-motorcycle in the city's main streets is illegal. In Beijing however, you can see many people driving e-bikes. Is it legal at all in Beijing?

Yes it is but the size of them is restricted to max 40kph
The e bikes and e motorcycles you see are legal but as Alex mentioned the motor powered are restricted for speed
It is legal, but still need a license actually. And on some roads, usually main roads as well as highways, it is prohibited.
Can you use the brakes properly on your e-bike or e-motorcycle, can you get your e-bike or e-motorcycle started, can you follow the rules on the road if you were to ride these bikes or motorcycles? If you said yes to these questions than it would be legal to ride your e-bike or e-motorcycle..
