Q: Saw the first rolled up trouser leg and fat guts hanging out today.

But why do they do it?  I suppose culture is the culprit.  Perhaps they've been doing it for a thousand years and it's not an easy habit to kick.

Have you ever given it a go?  If not, do so and report back how you got on.  Attach pic.

addit;  I'll put this into the 'Culture' category because there isn't a 'stupidity' category.

This habit exists since God knows when. It presumably cools a person down in summer. If it weren't for the huge beer bellies perhaps it might not be so unsightly. Imagine seeing six packs with very rolled up shirt. Anyway, the competition for the biggest rounded belly has started.

Maybe people wouldn't need extra cooling if they didn't have the big bellies. (I am a big bellied boy too, but I will never go down that path)

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
