Q: Scandinavian food in Beijing?

Girlfriend's never tasted good Norwegian or Swedish food. Anyone have any decent recommendations?

Ikea?  ;)  Sorry, I honestly have no idea but this was too difficult to pass up.

Ikea has Swedish food everywhere in the world so that is not a bad idea.

Clik HERE for a list of Scandinavian restaurants in Beijing. Scroll past the Swiss ones.

Other things you can do if you are familiar with Scandinavian food yourself:

Cook it for her - All ingredients should be possible to get.

Buy some dark bread and eat "smørrebrød", Danish style Smile

I always thought that Ikea was to Swedish food what Panda Express was to Chinese food.

The dishes I tried (meatballs, bread) were similar to what we get in Denmark (our food is very similar to Swedish).

Panda Express is still closer to Chinese food than, say, Japanese or Korean restaurants. My wife enjoys it once in a while when she wants Chinese food at restaurants (We live in UAE).
