Q: The school has not payed me the June salary, What can I do?
Hi every one, how are you?
I have a big problem. I have been working as an english teacher with a Z, this Z visa another company has arranged for me. When I signed the contract there was a term which said the first 4000 yuans will be paid in the end of the contract. The point is that i started working on June 15 th so my salary should be paid on July 15 ( the shole salary is 8000 yuans, so on July 15th I should be paid 4000 yuans but according to the contract they deducted me 4000 yuans so i didn,t recieve anything!!!!!!. I thought they just deducted 4000 yuans so would be paid 4000 yuans. Yesterday i decided not going to work i was really angry and they sent me a message, tells that they are going to sue me and call other schools to give a bad reputation, and look for me around china!!!!!!!!. I was working ilegal there because they didn,t arrange my Z visa it was just another company!!!!. what do you think about it???
Hey bud. today is 14th July in this part of the world. I may be wrong but the visa thing you describe would be gone and your sentences sound like what Chinese would write so I have my doubts to the whole question
I signed the contract on the 15 th but according to the contract i should be paid on the 10th.
I also asked the school why they didn,t payed me and they told me according to the contract i shouldn,t recieve any money until the 10th of the next month!!!!, so the next day i decided not going to work.
If you are working illegally you don't have many options.
Well two, you have two.
Either suck it up and keep trying or leave.
If you leave they will not report you as they would be in more trouble than you.
If you stay they may continue to exploit you knowing that you will not do anything about it.
you are working for that company illegally. if you do not have your new company renew your visa under them, you are not screwing th system you're screwing yourself. walk away and do it the right way the next time. consider the loss tuition.
Threaten to go to the media and the PSB unless they pay you. Send them pictures of the local news station + pictures of you talking to reporters. If they don't come running with your salary, expose their entire fraudulent hiring process. Then get the hell out of dodge.
At the worst, you'll be kicked out of China and/or required to pay a large fee. But you know what? They'll be charged up to 100,000 RMB plus all costs involved in repatriating you. If you're a vindictive motherpucker like some of us, making such gasholes suffer so badly is worth almost any price.
