Q: school problem leaving
I am working in an school they did not pay the full amount of money i have been working there for two months .then it took them two months to get working on fec but I want to leave the school as I'm not happy should I resign and they have asked me for my passport and photos but I want quit immediately what are my options.

if you have been working there for two months already, they have no reason to ask you for your passport.
All the official processing should have been completed in the first month.
you should have your RP (residents permit) by now.
There is a possibility you are not legal.
if this is the case, you are in trouble and probably won't see your owed pay.
You should post the name of your School and city, first!
Then, you'll get useful advice how to exit!
Name of your School will serve as warning to other Foreign teachers on this Board.
Edit your question and post the name of School and city in your Q, please! As: 'I am working for Guangxi Bridge School in Guilin, Guanxi.' click 'edit', and add name of the School in your Q, not in the new reply!

BTW if you try to get a new Resident permit in a different school WITHOUT a release letter then you will fail. You can't get a new Resident Permit at the PSB in any province due to the new laws, every PSB computer can and will see your Resident Permit with Guangxi Bridge and this is an old law reactivated, so the PSB will reject your next Resident Permit applicant with whatever company you are trying to work for because you don't have a release letter. Yes you'll be able to get a 30 day Z visa again, but not a 1 year resident permit.

Exactly how stupid are you, you keep posting the same question over and over getting great answers, follow the answers you have been given. This question is the dumbest of them all, after you want to leave, they ask for my passport, should I give it to them?
Yes give them your passport. (Since you refuse to accept the great answers you have been given)

although i have been taking the questions at face value, i suspect this is a very unsubtle way of trying to catch people out into advocating something illegal.
most posters who ask such questions in the past have responded, either not hiding behind an veil of anonymity, or responding with the outcome: not posting variations of the same thing over and over.
this particular poster also posted a job advertisment, which was removed, as well as some questions on how to teach english

The school you are working is not satisfied with your English .
Better you find another job and leave this job as soon as possible before they do something bad.
