Q: Set up a Business in Xiamen how do i go about getting Work Permit?

Hi. I am wondering if there are anyone who has opened their own company in China or have knowledge on how to go about hiring yourself for your own company? Would like to seek some Advice from you.

My family just set up a WOFE business  in xiamen with a help from an accountant but sadly we forgotten to ask this accountant about the Work Permit and this accountant also have no idea how to help us to get a work permit.

We have ask 3 Accoutant and Various other people including Immigration of China. But not much info. I am guessing Xiamen isn't getting as much Foreigner as Beijing or Shanghai so most of them aren't really familiar with it.

So like to ask

1How do you hire yourself being the "Fa Ren" Owner of the Company?

2) Is there anyone who know of anyone or company that can provide this service?

thanks in advance

I guess, you might find useful information at SAFEA (... where's PTT ...?) - Foreign Expert Bureau, which approves one's Working permit in China.

Enter 'SAFEA' in search above to find thread with SAFEA's addresses in contact no.'s around China.

Our weblink is SAFEA's provincial HQ, where you will most likely encounter Chinese English speaking agent.

Don't use email addresses on the link because nobody reads and replies to the sent emails. Dial them up!

Good luck!
