Q: Shanghai, Beijing or taiwan?

If you have to choose to do an MBA or Masters from one of these cities... which one would you prefer and why?

Between shanghai and Beijing, I think Shanghai holds better chances of landing a good Job after the course.

I have no idea about universities in Taiwan and the prospects of Taiwanese degree. Any suggestions?

Taiwan, then again, the cost of living would be higher in Taiwan when compared to SH or BJ. Guess part of it depends on what your budget's like mate..

WooMow:

I just got back from Taiwan and everything was about 1/3 the cost of things in SH. I didn't look into housing or anything, but food and nightlife are far and away cheaper. Not sure where you got this idea...

I really don't know, but it seems to me that Taiwan would look more impressive on a resume later.

Hongkers would be a better bet - maybe a bit pricey though!

I've been looking into this as well, so far here are my impressions.

Beijing: Technically has the most prestigious universities. Probably the best place to network with other students that have serious Guan Xi, but scholarships are limited.

Shanghai: Fudan University has an IMBA program in partnership with MIT Sloan, if you get accepted you'll spend a semester at MIT. You have a chance at a scholarship with a high GMAT.

Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (Jiao Tong University) Has a specialized Finance MBA if you're interested in that field. Looks like a strong program with scholarships available.

Taiwan: No idea, but Taiwan is great. Worth looking into!

Hong Kong: If you've spent a lot of time attempting to learn mandarin, could be a waste. Also very hard to get by as a student in that city.

check out this link for info about scholarships offered to foreign students:
