Q: Shipping boxes from China to Europe

In terms of price and services, which company is among the most reliable to send boxes from China to Europe.

Doing door to door services for private individuals.

Thanks for the advices.

I need to ship some boxes from China to Switzerland this summer and a friend has suggested the following company:

http://www.sevenseasworldwide.com/

Apparently, they even provide boxes and packaging. Not sure how their prices compare with other companies, so I will be interested to see whether you get any other feedback!

I will find a Chinese friend who can translate and visit China Postal Services and inquire there.  As long as you do not send anything forbidden, and you "register" the box, I have had very good luck with them, and their land service is dirt cheap.  But it will take 2 to 3 months to get there.  To register the last box was about 10 or 15 yuan extra.

Thanks to all for your advices. I also asked China Post, and their price is quite acceptable, providing it's for sea shipping. Otherwise, it's pretty expensive.

China Post Office for sure, surface delivery.  It will take about 2 - 3 months to reach Europe but it is relatively expensive.

Their website is also available in English -- look here please:

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
