Q: Should China hire foreign coaches/players for their football teams?

You look at Japan, who's been hiring really famous international football figures (Troussier, Zeco) as coaches back in Japan, and it seems like it wouldn't be such a bad idea to hire foreign coaches here too.

I mean, there's the money, there's the potential for viewers (Real Madrid came this summer, as did the two Milan teams). Just seems like the opportunity's there...

that should be useless at all. for a long time ago , china already hired foreigner coaches for our male football teams. but limited by china nation sport mechanism, every time spend a lot of money and get nothing. the china domestic football league matches fill with gambles, drugs, prostitute and organise crimal. the goverment sport officers only want get money and powder from the football movement. so it is no helpful at all to hire a coach, unless we reform our sport mechanism .

This is a very good topic for discussion, I watch the CFA with lots of saddness for the game i love the most.
The problem is they have no football stractures, how many football pitches are there in your neighbourhoor reader as compared to baskeball courts.
They have planted basketball and cant reap football.
Where am from even some streets are rurned into football pitches at certain times of the day to enable the young boys play and train.
Its our passion, when you invest in a sport and cant excell then you have to change.
