Q: Sitting in your seat on public transportation when suddenly...

Granny sits in the seat next to you with little xixi. This happened to me recently when I was taking the train, and little xixi was fidgety and invading my space and dropping bits of food on me. I got up to stand for awhile, but eventually had to sit down to rest. What do you do in those situations?

I've experienced the same thing. That little bastard went in out in out from his seat, mine was an aisle seat. When he finally stopped, he sat next to me, kicked me with his shoes and screamed all the way.

I kicked him back and slapped on that little bastard's face, and head and punched his body. I just won't stop. I kept on abusing that child.

That family thought I was crazy, they called the conductor and moved away. I own all their seats.

God helps those who help themselves. surprise

Same here, I can be far more obnoxious than locals, they are wrong if they think that they can beat me at this game. I push, I kick, I shove, I spread myself. They always start it and it always ends up with them yelling "ayaaa!" before changing seat.

I would prefer to scowl, and occasionally yell "No!" at the kid, but that doesn't work. So, I stare at Granny, and play peek-a-boo with the little one.

Play peek a boo? Really? Reward their rude behavior with positive attention and then you'll be bothered to keep it up for the entire train ride

Locals are masters at annoying you and harassing you all while ignoring you. I bet granny was looking in the opposite direction.

depends on the length of the train ride, but either way the best course of action is to firmly poke granny on on the shoulder and point to the crumbs on your clothes, if you know Chinese great.

I might stand the rest of the way next to the exit. I'm trying to avoid getting arrested as I approach my last year.

What she's trying to do is typical of mainlanders, they want your space so they get close and harass you into leaving (same tactic used for territorial disputes)

Just thought of getting the staff involved, causes a loss of face and maybe request a ticket check.
