Just wondering, considering the levels of pollution.
Just seems like people here have an absolute terror of even the lightest snow falling on their skin. Kinda got me thinkin about how dangerous, if at all, rain or snow was in the most polluted cities of China.

Take a close look at the various statues that are exposed to the elements and that should answer your question.
Actually its the opposite thinking. We need the snow or rain to hit the pavement to clear up some of the pollution. Even a small drop is valuable especially in a city like Beijing which doesn't receive much rain or snow. The more rain the more merrier Beijing would be. That would eliminate some of the pollution. During the olympics Beijing was lucky enough to receive the rain that it did. News broadcasters tested the environment before and after it rained and found out that it helped out in getting rid of some of the pollutants in the city.
If the rain cleans up the pollution, where do you think it went? Maybe it's not that dangerous, but it's not clean either. If you ever get soaked, take a nice shower afterwards.
