Q: So, to sum up.. Tourist visa on app; Business visa on app; Working visa on proof of Degree.

And this is how it is.  Today.

Except for when it's not.

Zhong guo......zhende?

Waiguoren....bu hao!

So, the question......What kind of visa are you on? And is it legal?

When it's up, can you get another one?  If your answer is yes...are you sure??

Me....I'm on a Z.  My fourth.  Can I get another one?  Hope so.  I'll find out in June.

In the meantime...Peaceout!

Tip;  Fleetwood Mac will help you to do this...

Red Fox....are you a Fleetwood Mac kinda bloke?

If you are, cool....as I suspect.

If you're not, weishenme bu?

Red_Fox:

Yo Royce! Was ready to turn in for the night, but decided to check in for a stickybeak and saw ur question re FM. I gotta say I'm a huge FM fan, dating back to when they were a blues band with Peter Green (Clapton's replacement in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers before he formed FM). Great band then and great band when they went mainstream with the two female vocalists, McVie and Nicks.

In a blues frame of mind at the moment having spent the past coupla hours listening to Cream, Allman Bros Band, Chuck Berry and Blondie Chaplin (the dude that sang lead on the Beach Boys Sail On Sailor. Awesome wail of a song!)

Got a blues jam coming up this week with the boys from Lennon. Working on Clapton's original Crossroads and Dicky Betts' Jessica. Man, I'm way too stoked to sleep, but I gotta call it a day.

Rock on, bro!

Woah...right on, Red!  I haven't listened to any Cream for years and years.  Will see if I can get hold of the boys.

Umm...seems a bit early to be hitting the sack though man.  It's that job, right?  Cramping your style.

I swapped FM for Paul Kelly somewhere around midnight....no issue, as I'm on hols now....Woohooo!

Mate, ya gotta hear this. Clapton at his very best. The pinnacle of his long career came early. He peaked when he was with Cream with his live guitar work on Crossroads. Nothing he ever played later outside a studio matched his solo in this song. Considered the Best Lead Solo by anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Oh, yeah. Can't click the link. Just copy and paste it in your search bar. And turn up your speakers!

Ya know, after that second solo (the SOLO), it is absolutely amazing that the crowd didn't go wild. I mean, Clapton was waaaayyyy out there. He was 23 years old. And he's never played like that since.

No good Red.  The link opens up ok, but won't play.

I can get Fresh Cream,  do you think that will suffice?

Red_Fox:

Fresh Cream was a great album. But the LIVE album - which I think came later - was Wheels of Fire, where you can hear The SOLO. It's on Baidu, bro!

Heh, heh... Are we "off-topic" here? Wasn't there something about a visa question? I suppose I oughta contribute something to the question in question, so here goes:

VISA = Stairway to Heaven. Jimmy Paige.

Hey guys ~ am pissed & just seen this. Compelled to say, agree with Redfox, Clapton at his best in younger years, not so later.

Cant compare to the great Santana...no one better, in my humble opinion.

Also rate FM ~ good music & great voice by Stevie Nicks. 'Gypsy' still one of the best.

Degree for work permit? Not necessary unless your a teacher! Engineer with many years experience can get permit/residence visa without that piece of paper. And don't have to worry about the 5 years thing. You can always go your own way.....

I am an engineer with many years of experience.  They still needed my original university diploma.  Had to go back home and rip it out of the nice frame it was in

I'm on a student visa now as I'm studying. I worked for three years before on a working visa with no degree. 2010 to 2013.
