Q: Something you see nearly everyday back home but never here?
Most days back home I would see a high speed police chase. here I have never seen the police do a high speed chase.

I saw two police here having a high-speed chat once.
Come to think of it I've never even seen the police to a slow-speed chase!

Yeah, but I meant in China. I get the impression 'chases' of any kind are just too much like hard work.
A group of 'young ladies' drunk out of their minds having a street brawl, usually on a Saturday night outside a local bar.
Queues.
More than 1km!
Large strings of common courtesy.
Blue skies.
People waiting for others to get off an elevator.
Taking responsibility...
Courtesy and truthfulness...without consideration of "face".
obedience to traffic laws, forward thinking, people handing money to the cashier and not throwing it on the counter, and pepperjack cheese
Polish bakery shop 
with the smell of crispy bread ...
People walking w/ a smile on their face. You rarely see it unless their walking w/ someone. If their alone they just look pissed off.

Back in Austin, a very-very hot babe in a UT sweatshirt and bum shorts, with a humongous rack and rock-solid posterior, driving a 2013 Cadillac SUV like a bat outta hell, racing down the freeway trying to make her appointment with her shrink, talking on her iPhone 5, flipping you the bird as you slip by in the fast lane in your 2004 Honda Civic - stupefied - while she's trying to control her 6-speed-personal-panty vibrator and change the radio station from AM from FM... all at the same time!
Oh... and Willie Nelson drunk as hell at the Lone Star Cafe...

Getting stared at in an intimidating way.
Cheese, thick pizza and meat, mountains of meat. Sorry to rub it in guys, but I hit a buffet on the weekend, spareribs and crab. The first chicken I cooked in China was as tough as show leather. I still wonder who gets the good meat in China, every dish I ordered was just bones. I ordered Peking Duck before I left and almost fell out of my chair laughing, here came this beautiful duck breast and when I took the first piece there was no meat, only skin.
Police that stop me for some petty reason, like speeding or not yielding fast enough. Driving in China is like being in the wild west. At home you can't drive a bicycle on a deserted sidewalk.
1. Maturity. Here, I constantly run across IDIOTIC,CHILDISH,INFANTILE and HIGHLY IMMATURE, ANNOYING CHINESE..MAINLY FEMALES. Just like in So. Korea!
2. Good customer service. The Chinese wouldn't know good customer service if you hit them over the head with it.
3. Civility,good manners and respect for others. Again, many Chinese wouldn't know anything about this. "collectivist society"..? What a bunch of b.s.!! Yes, collectively selfish and inconsiderate!! :(
4. Nice,drier and cooler Summer weather unless you are in NE China.
5. Not having to be around inconsiderate A******S that smoke EVERYWHERE and DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHO IS AROUND THEM! :(
6. Courteous and respectful drivers. Again, most Chinese wouldn't know anything about this.
