Q: Sounds in China that want to make you murder someone?
I'll list a few to get the ball rolling:
1. QQ message tone
2. Omni-present clearing throat/spitting noises
3. Car horns
Car horns, especially those horns that sounds worn out, like a person with a bad throat. They must have been abused a lot.
That horrible pre-spit hacking sound. Open mouth chewing.

Note: Usually comes from middle aged men with too much beer or young boys....
I wouldn't consider murdering anyone for anything or any sound for that particular matter...
besides car horn and that annoying sound that makes qq, the alarm system of most motorcycles!!!
when the n'th student in class answers a simple question with 'no why'
EDIT: it doesn't really make me want to kill anyone, just slightly more amused at the so-called smart-asses in class. I bet their parents would be SO proud of them

That would be original Sparkey. I usually give thumbs up to every poster in a thread that he answers just to lessen his point. You can tell the original, not very bright.
6 am screamers in the park near my apartment. it makes me wanna buy sniper rifle and kill them one by one.
The constant drilling in the apartments below, above and beside me. Darn concrete walls.

The horking sound makes my skin crawl, but it has to be those that shit in places where I walk every day and have to smell it. I don't know if they made a sound doing it.
I would definitely have to say the incredibly annoying sound of most motorcycles and/or car horns around here.
Another vote for the hammer drill. Especially the ones that decide to start at 6am on a Saturday.

The sound of some guy beating his wife upstairs or downstairs.
The sound of women throwing hissy-fits on the subway at the top of their voice, those deep and unnecessary car horn sounds of expensive audis/BMWs/Mercs etc.; ads with high-pitched trying-to-be-cute Chinese kiddies voices; the sound of people hocking out flemm; the noise pedestrian traffic lights make when it's green; those super loud crickets (or whatever insect they are) on trees at night; the sound of a car crashing; supermarket announcements and audio ads; looping audio ads in shops and announcements in subway stations; Chinese pop songs.
The QQ message tone is definitely up there.
But for me it's drunken Chinese men at KTV screaming into the microphone instead of actually singing....or the professional singers at the local Chinese bar that do the same...ear piercing hell!!
Do they not understand mic control? Even the sound techs are oblivious.
