Q: Spring Festival stories 2015

So has anyone had any weird, amusing, strange etc events happen to them yet?
I find that during Spring Festival the usual maddness of China is increased ten fold and I often regret leaving my home during this time. I guess it doesn't help that I just returned from the UK so I had gotten used to living in the sane world.
Yesterdays trip to the supermarket was eventful to me. Firstly we all had to go to the supermarket against my better judgement because "don't worry, it won't be busy today.". After ten minutes of driving around the car park we find somewhere to park. As we eventually get into the supermarket there is a crowd. I tell my wife that this is the type of crowd you only see in China when something bad has happened or is about to happen. She says don't worry and walks towards the dangerzone with our son and inlaws. The guy causing the trouble then pulls out a pair of scissors and begins chasing the guy he is arguing with around an aisle while everyone just watches. I notice my wife just watching with everyone else and only after I shout ar her does she move our 1 year old son away from the crazy guy. As we get further away I look back and notice the guy stabbing someone in the shoulder a few times. My family start shopping again like nothing happened. Welcome to the twilght zone.
