What's an electric Wok? Not being weird, I've genuinely never heard of one.

Wow. Never knew these things even existed.

I had trouble buying a regular wok here in China. I managed to get one from Hong Kong. But it's still not quite the same as the ones back home. Weird how a cooking utensil I assumed originated in China is impossible to buy here. People don't believe me when I say it's hard to find woks in China.

I would not buy that one. Looks like a 2 pin plug. No earth. Get an element failure and you are toast.

I have a Breville electric wok in Oz. It has some sort of alloy non-stick coating (ironstone maybe?) After a few years of hard-wokking the coating was still perfect. But it was a bit exxy.

philbravery:

is that the blue stone coating?

we had the Brevil and a kambrok but both had the coating come off after a couple of years

I bought  sunbeam stainless for $190 deliverd however i Have become Chinese/Scotish  and dont want to spend that much on a gift laugh
