What do you do for fun in summer ? Is there anything you're looking forward to doing ? How do you stay cool ?
Any good reccomendations for SH ? I know there's a few outdoor pools like the one in Gubei and the Maya pool. Is there somewhere else too ?? Reallly miss the beaches back homeeee ! :(

Water parks (上水乐园) and something similar to rafting (漂流).  The beaches around here aren't really known for their crystal clear water or general cleanliness....

jyao87:

Yeah, I know the beaches here are horrid. But I have also heard bad things about the water parks here. How it's really packed and people urinate and do other business there ... Mmmm ....But it would be nice, I've never been myself...

Yeah, the water parks can be hit or miss.  I honestly have no idea about the parks in and around Shanghai.  The one I frequent is really out in the countryside...makes me wonder who had the idea/vision to put something like that out in the middle of nowhere.  Anyways, out here the air is fresher although the problem with the crowds still exists.  Who knows about the pissing and shitting in the water....I'm sure it happens, I just try to keep my mouth closed  Overall it's still good fun.  Lots of cuties in their swimsuits, and they all wanna get a look at the big strong laowai
