Body odor? See a doctor.

icnif77:

Did you mean: 'See the shower'? After doctor finishes with examination of your body, his 'cure' state: ' You should shower often!'

Red_Fox:

Showers are good! But too many showers, especially if you live in a low-humidity winter climate, can dry you out. Itchy skin and all that. Dermos say shower with warm - not hot - water, use soap sparingly (soaping up the stinky areas only), and apply a light skin ointment to the skin after the shower.

I'm no doctor, but the unusual BO could be a symptom of some other physical disorder. Sorta like bad breath or excessive flatulence can be symptoms of some underlying problem.

If showering, deodorants and colognes don't help, you might get some good advice from a Western or Chinese MD or TCM practitioner. I'm thinking herbal remedies? There must be something homeopathic out there for BO. Dunno.

Good luck.

Shave? I guess you are a girl?devil

And started washing two times a day? isn't that should be a norm?

Are you living in the South as the humidity tends to have that effect but not at this time of the year. Some people naturally have more BO than others and nothing abnormal; just need to deal with it

There are special washes for ummmmm... "private parts" in the better supermarkets and beauty shops................I am not a female just in case you are wonderinglaugh

the humidity here does cause problems.  i was raised in california's dry heat so never had those issues.  but i also lived in hawaii, singapore, and malaysia, where the humidity is awful.  my answer to the problem was and is, frequent showers, washing clothes on a regular basis, and drinking more water.  your skin expels a lot of toxins from your body from things you ingest.  for example, we've all had those nights when we drank way to much and wake up sweating and it smells like whiskey...  be mindful what you eat and drink, water cleanses your body.  if all else fails, you can purchase those special body washes that fight BO.  but, i think if you nip the problem at the bud its much more effective.

I had that problem, read Head and Shoulders shampoo helps else where, I use it and antipirspirant, which isn't good for you. Your body absorbs the aluminum, bad for the brain. I have enough brain damage, can't hurt me.

Its the humidity of course, and perhaps crappy deoderants. Have you checked your clothes? Washing machinese here suck ass. So you might think they are clean but the BO smell can be firmly entrenched in the armpit fabric of your shirt.
Often i have showered gotten ready, fresh t shirt, got in the car, and 5 minutes later the car is stank. I now hand wash the tighter fitting shirts.

Follow Red's advice...

...could be serious...or could just be aliens farting inside your body...

Paulberger:

Where do you live ? If it's really humid, the clothes can stink very quick. Here's a few tricks for fighting this
* Don't wait one or two days to wash your clothes, wash them ASAP (bacteria feeding on your sweat makes bad smell)
* Try to dry as fast as possible your clothes ie. wash stuffs before to go to work and hang them, so that it's dry by the afternoon

For body odors, where ? For mouth odor, just cleaning your tongue and flossing does marvels. I don't use deodorants, but I don't sweat a lot. I always do sport outdoor, helps a lot to acclimatize. Loosing weight helps too.

ScotsAlan:

Have to agree with the above re clothes.

I would also add it might be worth hanging your clothes outside to let the UV rays get at the nasty microbes that survive the cold water washing machines here.

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
