Q: Taxi driver falling asleep?

Had a taxi driver fall asleep on me. Almost got us into a car crash. When we got to my destination, I didn't want to pay him since he endangered my life. We got in an argument and I finally just gave him the money and got out of there. There are company tel numbers for reporting problems like this. If I called one next time this happened, would they be on my side?

All taxis have a license plate, and I believe country wide, the driver must place his license visibly. Take a snap of this, call the taxi company.

It will be your word against the drivers, how serious they take it is probably in large up to the responsible person at the taxi company.

Its happened to me as well. I just play my music really loud and just nudge the guy...

Friend of mine got into a crash like that. Guy tried to give her 50 kuai as compensation, but she refused it and got more from the insurance company.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
