Beijing is a good city to teach. If you want to go to a top training center to teach go try out New Oriental School. You can teach kids and adults!

All the big cities have differnt things to offer.  Personally, I prefer Guangzhou to the other tier 1 cities.  No snow in the winter, but hot and humid in the summer.  It is a big city with lots to do, but it isn't overwhelming like Shanghai or Beijing.

And, not that this matters to you I am sure, but they have what I consider the cutest girls in all of China.  :)

I second this, Guangzhou is a beautiful large city, and not overwhelming like the other T1 cities.  Also there are some smaller cities nearby like Foshan, Shenzhen, and Zhaoqing which are great to visit as well.  Also, being close to Hong Kong is quite nice!

Since I'm as student, I can't tell about working conditions.

But socially speaking, Beijingers became cold and arrogant, there's too much traffic, the winter is too cold and sad, and there is not so much entertainement (and it's expensive).

But again, I know nothing about working conditions and salaries.
