Q: is TESOL/ TEFL necessary for you to get a job in China ??

i have had some interviews recently,  and i  just talked about a kindergarten job in ningbo,   the employer are very satisfied with me,  but to get a  work  visa  , a TESOL / TEFL is required,  i have B.A but no TESOL  /  TEFL , thus l may lose the chance to work for them,   is there anybody who can help me apply a TESOL / TEFL  in a short time ??

Yes, in most cities you need one, no choice. Some cities they don't need one.. You don't seem like a native speaker of the English language, that's probably why they are asking you for a TESOL/TEFL.

I have never asked for or wanted a job.

I have been offered numerous jobs... teach my kid English type things... I am not a teacher.

if you want to know how to save money building this road....maybe I can help, but for sure I do not know how to deal with kindergarten kids and their potty training.

the job offers do not end, in my little community...  but simple me... I offer spend time with the kids for free .. just a little English ....  nobody here in this giant Noble Community has ever accepted my free offer.... it is real..I would ....but it is unbelievable, nobody works without getting paid..........

long story

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
