WHy go to a studio I found that you can learn Chinese dance for free. Just go to a park, housing area or some other place that has those chinese dancers dancing and as far as I know it's free to join.

Thanks for the info. Have you tried any of the dance studios? any thoughts?

I'm planning to join dance clubs once I move to Shanghai on this upcoming July.

One more thing, do the gyms/fitness centers in Shanghai have dance classes?

Total Fitness usually have a dance studio or 2, I'm not from Shanghai, but i'm sure they have them there.

Also, look on Meituan or Dianping for coupons and specials for dance classes, you can usually try out a week or months worth of lessons very cheap.
