Q: Is there any place here in Beijing where foreigners get together?

I am curious if anyone who has been here longer than I might know a popular place for foreigners, like clubs, bars anything?

Have you tried the pages and pages and pages of things-to-do in the Beijinger?  www.thebeijinger.com  and no, I don't work for that magazine.

In fact, the owner and I are barely on speaking terms.  He thinks too much of himself and I don't think enough of myself.

There are many many, if you walk into a place like modernista or Mai bar you can forget you are in China - except for the billows of smoke in doors of course. But yes thebeijinger, and smartbeijing are good for finding places to go.
